Hey!!
While I’ve been working on gloobus preview, kitkat has done some incredible things to gloobus (coverflow). He call his branch gloobus on fire, and as you’ll see on the next video, it’s really on fire!!!!
Note: It is experimental but you can test it here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~am-monkeyd
bzr branch lp:~am-monkeyd/+junk/gloobus_on_fire
After this exiting video, I’ll tell you more news about gloobus.
Next week its gonna be released the 0.4.1 version (gloobus-preview) that fixes all bugs reported in 0.4 It will be compatible with karmic. There will be nautilus 0.28 patched to, we’ll distribute the normal version and offer the simplified one in another branch so this way there are the two versions.
And remember that you can donate to this incredible project (link in the right bar)
Looks really great, a very good mix of cooliris and coverflow.
hope that this project will one day be embedded in nautilus by default.
Thx for your amazing work! 😉
Dude once again great work. Seems like is shaping out to be a great addition to linux.
Wow. Nice!
I got it showing up but how do I change the views?
Nevermind. Got it figured out.
Thanks anyway.
😀
yes as it is in development the keys are a little hard to find out
are, just try with sdfghjk keys
😀
And how exactly do you intall/run this?
Hi
https://answers.launchpad.net/gloobus/+question/95300
sorry by my bad english, when i type make show this
12345@12345-laptop ~/gloobus-flow $ make
make: *** No se especificó ningún objetivo y no se encontró ningún makefile. Alto.
how can i install it?
Try this:
./autogen.sh && ./configure –prefix=/usr/ && ./src/gloobus .
And tell me if works
Arrrrgh! I can’t install it. I added the ppa repository, but apt wants to re-install the old open office along with it! I don’t want to have to go back through the whole removing OO and installing OO 3.2 again!
Why does apt think the old OO is a dependancy for gloobus?
