Well, In the previous post I did’t upload any image so here it goes, one showing covergloobus working with docky and spotify!!
(and the new theme from d0od)
Hope you like it!
I fixed the bzr error so you can try it now
bzr branch lp:covergloobus
cd covergloobus
./autogen.sh
./configure
make
sudo make install
Where can one obtain that theme?
Looks great 🙂

What went wrong?
Super Great Work!
This has a very easy solution, open the file configure.ac and there is aline that says someting about AM_SILENT_RULES, delete the complete line and try again!
Thanks.. compiling worked.
But get -> Player not started. Dont know why.. rythmbox is installed.
covergloobus /media/data/Musik/
/usr//share/locale/

not the perfect place to say this:
since the last update (today) gloobus-preview stopped working – is there any way to get the previous version (or the next one if there is a testing repository)?
(i don’t know if writing gloobus-preview in a terminal used to give anything, now it just sends a “command not found” error)
It’s fantastic and on my pc it works like a charm! Incredible stable, docky and covergloobus never crash =) I think that would be great if it can be integrated into music player icon, I mean that the icon of the playa can switch to cover if a plugin will be develops.
great thing, but will there be a mpd+sonata support?
Unbelievable just asked and already online =)
I’m sorry, but what dock on the screenshot? 🙂
Docky of course!
I’m sorry, but what mediaplayer is on the screenshot ?
Spotify 😉
how did you get spotifiy running in Ubuntu… wine ?
yes, wine 1.2 and works perfectly!

…what’s happening here?
My covergloobus doesn’t recognize spotify installed using wine and a prefix, is there anything else to do?
This is little app is great, I was clueless when I installed it today and realized it actually supports Spotify (I was completely surprised when I first launched and it immediately detect spotify), but I can’t get it to change the current song, is there any way to do it? Or it isn’t implemented yet?
